Sai Dharam Tej is going through a difficult moment in his career and needs a blow to his credit. He has placed great hopes in his new film Intteligent, which hit the screens today. Let’s see if this movie gives Tej the much-needed success.
History of Dharama Bhai Movie:
Dharam Tej (Tej) is a software engineer who is very loyal to his company and his MD (Nasser). As time passes, a criminal gang lands in Hyderabad and tries to overtake the company. In this process, Nasser is killed and to improve things, Dharma Bhai enters the scene. Who is this Bhai Dharma? What does it have to do with Nasser and his company? And how do you solve all the problems? That forms the rest of the story.
Sai Dharam does well in his role as a software engineer. The way he transforms in the second half and carries the film on his shoulders looks good. He has danced well and acting wisely, Tej is quite honest in everything he does. Lavanya Tripathi is fine in his role and does not have much to do with the movie.
Some comedies generated through Posani and Jayaprakash Reddy during the early stages of the film evoke some laughs. The interval in which Dharma Bhai is revealed is good. The light comedy about Dharma Bhai with Brahmanandam is decent to some extent.
Dharma Bhai Movie Story Lines:
Tej (Sai Dharam Tej) is a loyal employee in the software company Nanda Kishore (Nasser). You may wonder why a software engineer should be so loyal to his boss. This Nanda Kishore really funded the education of our hero and even when he was 10 years old, our hero had declared that he would be the most loyal employee of the financier.
In normal movies, the villain takes land. In ‘Inttelligent’, Vicky Bhai (Rahul Dev) wants to take over the software company of Nanda Kishore. Please, why only your company? Well, this Nanda Kishore is a Che Guevara and Infosys Narayana Murthy joined. It offers its employees the best benefits, including a mini Ayushman Bhava Plan that may have inspired Modicare. So, Nanda Kishore’s rivals fear that their software employees may also begin to demand similar benefits. And so, they approach Vicky Bhai for help. Simply wow.
Vicky Bhai manages to eliminate the pioneer of corporate communism. Our hero, who until now is busy deceiving the woman Agnyaathavaasi (Lavanya Tripathi is the daughter of her boss, but our hero does not know because he was an agnyaathaavaasi who lives in the United States until the next day), metamorphoses into Dharma Bhai in a flash.
The rest of the story is about how the murder of his boss comes, complete with a game with a Minister of the Interior (Vineet Kumar) and his rapist son.
One of the biggest drawbacks is that the film lacks a basic plot. The mafia that beats a software company seems quite strange and does not generate any news. The film is filled completely on top elements that do not have any synchronization at all.
The characters keep coming in frequently and divert your attention. Vinayak is stuck in the old days and narrates things in a predictable and foolish way. There are scenes in which billions of people from the gang of villains are transferred to poor people in that way. The movie is full of such silly scenes that lack meaning.
The second half receives a heavy beating, as things happen so conveniently for the hero. Another drawback is that there are no important turns in the film, since the procedures are unleashed on a boring note.
The production values of the film are mediocre, since the visual aspects are quite outdated in many areas. Thaman’s musical score is a big disappointment, since none of the songs impress. The choreography for the Chammaku Chammku seems strange, since Lavanya strives to match the steps with Tej. The camera work is fine and presents the movie with a decent note. Akula Shiva’s story and dialogues are silly and stagnant in the 90s era.
Coming to director Vinayak, he has done a very disappointing job with the movie. Intteligent is his weakest film in his career, as it seems quite outdated from the start. There is no basic emotion in the movie and the Vinayak script does not help much. The star director has not managed to connect the audience in a single aspect, which makes things difficult for them.
In general, Intteligent is the weakest V Vinayak movie to date. The story of routine, the predictable narration and the lack of basic turns and entertainment go against the film completely. It is sad to see that the sincere efforts and performance of Sai Dharam Tej are wasted in the film. Even a star hero can not help things when films like these are narrated in such a haphazard way. Besides the role of Tej and the presence on the screen, this film does not generate any interest and ends up as a disappointing watch this weekend.
